Writing this on my phone so please excuse the brevity.
Cycled more than 100km each day which is good going considering we had strong headwinds and 15kg panniers each, which makes the bikes very heavy. We had to peddle hard even downhill to avoid stopping.
Yesterday we were soaked to the skin with thunder and lightning, but today we escaped with light showers.
Now in central Paris, such a contrast from our very memorable stay with chloe and jean-francois last night. His paintings, which adorn their house, are stunning. Lovely people we had supper with last night.
I will include a few photos which hopefully sum up a little bit of Normandy, Picardy and Paris. More to follow.
Fundraising for Tiago has been tough. Only 6 euros so far in my bucket, but will persevere.
Tomorrow we head for fontainebleau which is very exciting.
